Lentorama 2017: Lenten Observers of Instagram

Day 33: Maybe I missed this part when I posted that link on how Orthodox Christians calculate the date for Easter




You think after so many years of doing Lentorama I'd have this figured out, but apparently the Great Lent starts on a Monday and includes Sundays, so it ends before Holy Week. The Orthodox churches also don't do Ash Wednesday, which I didn't know but should have figured out from having relatively observant Greek Orthodox friends. All in all it seems like a much tidier affair on the Orthodox side.
