The Globe reported something today that may change the way you look at the Republican primary for the US Senate. Turns out that Kenneth Chase has an election day ritual where he listens to the album Silk Degrees by Boz Scaggs. Do with that what you will.

1. What are your thoughts on Deval Patrick winning the DEM nomination for governor, since you were backing another candidate.

2. Who is Christy Mihos, and why is he polling 16% as an independent candidate for governor? Is he a big name in MA politics?

I'd never noticed before just how much "Boz Skaggs" sounds like the name of a rapped, especially given an album name like "Silk Degrees."
